i didn't know there wasn't a formal adivasi designation in bdesh, thanks for your hard work compiling these. i'm still hazy on what the designation of "scheduled tribe and caste" means in the indian legal/social context. i went to a sanhati presentation recently at left forum on operation green hunt and it kicked up these confusions for me recently.
