something I noticed about the UK coverage is that when they assumed that the perpetrator was Muslim they took pains to point out how he couldn't possibly have acted alone, it was an impossible thing for just one person to coordinate, then when it was confirmed he was a white man with far right views they immediately changed their tune and kept stressing and reiterating how he had acted alone.
