But as the Kimberly Nixon case showed, even woman-positive organizations can be no haven for trans women, since those groups can, in Canada at least, refuse to hire a qualified rape counselor simply because she looked like a man in their eyes.

Still boggling at this. I cannot EVEN. How these people are continuing to get away with presenting themselves as women positive by doing this.
