Yep, that is actually a very erroneous assumption and its based on some very problematic and prevalent views based in colonialism that nonwestern people are evil nonmoral undefined masses of barbarism. Its really really problematic. May I ask that we not discuss this here in deference to the hurt that those views will cause?
