The whole situation with the IMF and the way they enforce their neo-liberal bullshit on people is disgusting. And the way they continue to assert that their neo-liberal bullshit is Best For Everyone when all the available evidence suggests that it is, in fact, only best for a very small group of people is disgraceful.
(And, yeah, we continually portray our own foreign policy decisions as being totally justifiable and The Right Thing To Do: like, that country NEEDS to be liberated! It's the only thing to do! No matter that it's their own government doing its own thing and exerting its sovereignty! But heaven forfend anyone suggest that we give up a little of our own decision-making power; or, you know, suggest that there's something a little hypocritical about creating democracy through shooting people.)
