It's just another sign that those in power care more about people being obedient than people being safe. It is much easier to oppress women, and immigrants, and women immigrants, and others if they have no recourse when they are harmed. When accessing services becomes a risk of deportation, then many people lose the use of those services. The politicians don't care if it means women -- and children -- getting beaten to death. Not their problem.

Voters: MAKE it their problem.
