--Once the house call was made, Republican senators were not allowed to leave the Senate chambers until the Senate adjourned. They were in there all day. Protesters claimed their sit-in was to keep them in, and Dems out, probably not realizing that Republicans had to stay in anyway.

--Thus far, the only mention of the use of National Guard has been a plan to staff the state prisons, in case prison workers go on strike. The intent was not to use the National Guard on protesters, although this has been purported in the media/Twitter.
